Accommodation - your home from home

Your Sport Lived programme is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience all that the best Australian and New Zealand cities have to offer.  That’s why we provide accommodation perfectly situated to allow you to get the most from your stay overseas.

We believe that accommodation is one of the most important parts of your Sport Lived experience.  Sport Lived participants in each city live together in the same apartment complex.  Each group is arranged into smaller units who share 2, 3 or 4 bedroom apartments.  Being surrounded by a large group of fellow participants is one of the key elements of the Sport Lived experience.  We aim to foster a Sport Lived family atmosphere in each city and the programme co-ordinators will arrange frequent social events to ensure participants get to know each other. 

All of our accommodation is in 4 star apartments.  For Play Sport programmes, our accommodation is in city centre locations.  On a coaching programme the apartments are either in the city or just outside, in suburbs located close to the schools at which participants work.  All accommodation is fully furnished and has the mod-cons you would expect in high quality, modern apartments. 

Whilst the specifics vary slightly in each city, you can expect:

- Reception area staffed during office hours

- Air conditioning

- Colour TV

- Bedding – linen, duvets, etc

- Broadband internet access / IT facilities on-site

- Communal lounge area in each apartment

- Fully equipped kitchen including pots, pans, crockery & cutlery

The price of our programmes includes rent, furnishings and most bills (participants are responsible for paying for food, telephone calls and internet usage).

Our accommodation is located in carefully selected city centre locations.  Being based centrally offers numerous benefits:

- Participants in the same city can live together fostering a group atmosphere and providing an instant network of friends

- Living in the city means you are near public transport links.  It’s therefore easy to get to your sports club, place of work and to local attractions

- The city puts you in easy reach of lots of employment options.  Our participants find work in offices, shops, bars, cafes and restaurants; all of which are right on your doorstep

- You’re near nightlife, entertainment and leisure attractions so you’ll save a fortune in taxi fares!
